STORY
▼ EP1: The Trail of Eve Maiya
Born at the twilight of the human calendar, she emerged as the sole progeny of the elusive mechanic, Lilith Maiya, and the prodigious mage, Adam Blaze.
What unfolds next is the chronicle of her journey through life.
“Eve will become a great mage like daddy and help mommy!”

Originally, she was the child of “astral” who was loved by the four great gods, and was born with more talent as a mage than her father.
However, because she was born at the beginning of the end, when the "Astral Flare" began to run out due to the planet's crisis caused by the mass operation of the old mechanical dolls, she, like the old model, was unable to generate "Astral Flare" just by being alive.
“Oh no silly..You can't use all your magic. Even Eve is holding back!”

Her father, Adam Blaze, took pity on her situation and doted on her. With the help of his privileges as "Hero of the Central" and his own magical technology-assisted mechanisms, Eve was raised with great care, although her connection to the "astral flare" was always limited. The public's perception of a "Astral Flare-Eater" like her remains chillingly distant. Yet, within the sheltering embrace of her father's esteemed reputation and unwavering affection, she found solace. Nevertheless, in the peculiar circumstances that defined her existence, Eve was never embraced as a "typical" child by society's standards. Instead, she became ensnared by the damning epithet of "worthless daughter," a label that haunted her at every turn.

As the world braced for the impending doom brought forth by the spreading "Terminal Disease," a harbinger of humanity's demise, Eve's beloved mother, Lilith, fell victim to its ravages, her memories consumed by its relentless advance.
In a desperate bid for survival, Eve and her father, Adam, fled their familiar homeland of Grand Chariot, seeking refuge in the military stronghold of Central. It was there that Lilith, succumbing to the disease's grip, issued a chilling command for Adam's demise. Yet, despite the dire circumstances, Adam, ever devoted, refused to raise arms against his ailing wife or his comrades.
Adam's mastery of illusion magic, earning him the moniker "Hero of Salvation" in Central, proved instrumental in their escape, even as he battled his own severe injuries. However, Eve, burdened by guilt as she saw herself as a liability, would carry the weight of her perceived uselessness throughout her lifetime.
Years later, Adam's demise, unrelated to the terminal disease, sealed the fate of humanity. Amidst the chaos of the Astral Doomsday, Eve, driven by a resolute determination, summoned her ailing mechanic mother, Lilith, to Central. Serving as a conduit between Central and their war-torn homeland, torn apart by her parents' conflict, Eve embarked on what would become known as "Noah's Ark."

Even following the passing of her mother, Lilith, Eve persisted in her research, pressing on tirelessly until the twilight of her days. Through unwavering determination, she eventually accomplished the creation of approximately 100 intricately crafted mechanical dolls.

The "Kagaribito" of this work has more than a little of the original "will" in her. It took her a long time to remember her role as a new type of mechanical doll, and there are only nine dolls left that can be operated.
Even as a Kagaribito, she still maintains a strong will to carry on the legacy of her parents.

The new mechanical doll imperfectly took over the original human ego until Eve remembered everything. The "unbreakable volition" she gave them continued to function as a powerful "astral flare safety net" to prevent further damage to the planet.
The "astral flare" has not been fully depleted.
Though her friends retained no recollection of the event, they had undeniably entrusted the girl with a profound responsibility, a symbolic passing of the baton.

The "bonfire" suicide system (the SUICIDE.sys) would not be triggered unless all the sleeping dolls were reactivated.
We shall reclaim every memory lost amidst the chaos of the apocalypse, purging our hearts of the strife that once divided us. With unwavering determination, we shall mend the bonds that time had severed, rekindling the connections that define us.
Together, let us ascend beyond the confines of our plight, returning the essence of our shared humanity, devoured by despair, back to the celestial realm whence it came.
Such is the noble endeavor that embodies the true essence of Eve's mission: the "Noah's Ark Project."
